As the year 2015 comes to a close we all have something on our list of goals that we didn't quite get to accomplish, but this new year gives us a fresh start at pursing destiny! So what is your vision for the coming year? Well; you should be planning your year in detail, the Lord expects us to plan and prepare for the seasons ahead; bible says in Habakkuk 2:2-3 "And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.  For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come, it will not tarry".  The vision always becomes a tool for decision making, we must be specific when writing down our goals because anything that is vague will not stand.  Another key element in this scripture is patients, We must make sure while preparing for a new season that we are in prayer and asking the Lord to align us with His will for our lives, because sometimes we are planning and God is wiping, Why? because what we have planned is not in His will for our lives, so make sure during your preparation time for the new season you first spend time with the Lord in prayer and His word, He will surely speak, Amen.

Whatever your goals may be for the coming year, make sure they can be broken down into short term and long term goals.  Once that is in place there should be a tool in place to see if you are making any progress.  Set goals that you actual can achieve, many times we get overly zealous during the new year and start to set these crazy expectations for our selves then crash and complain when we do not see our expected result.  Make sure your plans are motivating! Align yourself with people who will push you to be better and reach your expected end.  Lastly set deadlines, your goals must not be like the wind, remember any plan that has no time elements is not a plan but a dream.

I really hope these tips have been helpful and remember God usually gives us something to do that is outside of our comfort zone it takes obedience, a strong will and finding a balance of doing all we can and waiting for God to work out the rest.  Blessed 2016

Servants Heart

I have always had a princess mentality, and in my carnal mindedness, thought everything should be done for me..... When renewal came into my spirit I realized that the Lord wanted to use me, but first I needed to get over "self". As I began to ask the Lord how He would use me.... The Lord used a man of God to speak to me, He asked me a question, "What do you do at church?" As I sat there a member in my Church home at the time for 3 years, my answer was; nothing....I felt ashamed about my answer, because I had become a pew filler....The Man of God said something to me and it blessed me, he said what you do in the house of God shows your commitment to the things of God, and as you begin to serve in the house of the Lord you partake of the burden of the church..... The next day I began to pray about what the Lord will have me do at my local church, so I went to My pastor and he asked me to start preparing myself to stand before the congregation at the end of service to do the churches announcements.  This duty at church was a start and direct link to aiding me in walking in my divine destiny!!
